Import

This rough draft map was made by Chris Graham in Google Earth. jsq imported the two KML files tracks.kml and waypoints.kml into Google Maps like this:

  1. In maps.google.com
  2. Click on the search window in the top left.
  3. In the pulldown menu that appears, click on My custom maps.
  4. Click on Create.
  5. Click on Import.
  6. Click on Select a file from your computer.
  7. Pick tracks.kml.
  8. Open.
  9. Back in the custom map menu, click on Add layer.
  10. Click on Import.
  11. Click on Select a file from your computer.
  12. Pick tracks.kml.
  13. Open.
  14. Click on Share (green box in upper right of google maps window).
  15. Give the map a name and a description.
  16. Select Public.
  17. Done.

Copies of the data used are in Tracks and Waypoints.
