Clean Rivers 2023-06-08

Update 2023-06-16: Very bad upstream Withlacoochee River 2023-06-15.

The Withlacoochee River and Little Rivers tested good for Thursday, and the Alapaha River for Tuesday. Unless it rains, happy swimming, boating, and fishing this weekend.

Or join us tomorrow on the Suwannee River Chainsaw Cleanup 2023-06-10.

Thanks to Cindy Vedas for her four sites, with the assistance of David Vedas, at Franklinville Road on the Withlacoochee River, Crawford Branch at Skipper Bridge Road, and Staten Road and US 41 on the Withlacoochee River.

This week I sampled Thursday at Troupville Boat Ramp on the Little River, and Knights Ferry, Nankin, and State Line Boat Ramps on the Withlacoochee River.

Kimberly Tanner sampled earlier at Lakeland Boat Ramp and Naylor Park Beach on the Alapaha River, assisted by Holly and Ayla Jones.

So I’ve marked green all the WWALS “beaches” for which we have recent data, on Swim Guide
